Spokes (Nerd Alert):

The Aerolite spoke has been a super light top end wheel spoke favourite for a long time. Is has the cross sectional area, weight and stiffness of a Revolution spoke, but mashed (which is a technical term for cold forged) in to a bladed super light spoke.

In 2025 DT Swiss bought out a new bladed spoke, the Revolite, the ideal choice for riders seeking a spoke that combines durability and light weight. Ever so slightly heavier, and a clever unique shape.

How to use this information! If you want a more compliant front wheel, go for the Aerolite. If you're on an eeb, or hard hitting enduro bike, go for the revolite.
